About King Millions Jackpot
There are several progressive network jackpots out there – you may have heard of Dream Drop and Mega Moolah, for example. The latter is the current record holder for the highest ever payout! In September 2018, Games Global’s highest-tier jackpot was triggered at a whopping €18,915,872! Well, seemingly unsatisfied, Games Global are at it again.
King Millions was released on 31 July 2023, and there’s a good chance we could see a winner take home a record-breaking sum, according to Andrew Booth, Chief Product Officer at Games Global.
“Designed specifically to raise the bar on progressive jackpot slots, we're expecting to see the top prize pools swell above €30 million before dropping, awarding eight-figure sums the likes of which have never been seen in the industry.”
Where many linked jackpots only offer 1 top-tier prize, King Millions offers 2! Once a player manages to trigger the bonus, they are guaranteed either a bet multiplier of between 1x and 100x or one of the top jackpots – the Major and the Grand.
How King Millions works
This and other progressive jackpots work by taking a percentage of each player’s bet from networked slots – connected throughout various online slot sites. This is why the jackpots get bigger and bigger – hence the term ‘progressive’. When someone wins, they reset to the seed value. King Millions’ Major and Grand jackpots begin seeding at £1 million and £2 million, respectively – this figure is shown in Euros in the games and changes with the exchange rate.
To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is play one of Games Global’s King Millions slots and hope to trigger the jackpot bonus round. If successful, you’ll be given a spin on the King Millions wheel, which contains the 1x-100x multipliers and the 2 top-tier jackpots. The Major is expected to hit between 3 and 4 times a year, while we can hope to see the Grand once or twice per year.
Which games offer King Millions?
There are a handful of King Millions slots and some have a similar setup with 20 paylines, low volatility and 86% RTP. But others go in for the ‘Ways’ pay mechanics and prefer high volatility, so there should be something to suit everyone’s tastes!
Some titles, including Playboy Fortunes and 9 Pots of Gold, also have their own in-game jackpots, so even if you’re not lucky enough to see the King Millions Wheel, you could still walk away with another instant reward!
King Millions outlook
With some great King Millions titles already out there, such as 9 Mad Hats and 9 Masks of Fire, and more planned for the future, you should see the Major and Grand jackpots begin to grow. Will someone take home a €30-million-plus prize as predicted? Only time will tell. What is certain is that with slots of this quality, the future is bright, both for iGaming fans and Games Global alike.
