Return of Kong Megaways Review
Despite being released in 2016, King Kong Cash is a staple within the Blueprint Gaming portfolio as players just went bananas for the Kong.
The mighty gorilla is back in Return of Kong Megaways and is even bigger than ever! With a better RTP, better win potential and a whole host of features - the Kong is better before.
Just like the original game, you'll find the setting in the jungle but with Kong on a rock above everyone. There are various trees rustling along with a tiki light to bring the slot to life.
The best part has to be Kong who is animated at the top of the reels with his crown and gold necklace showing that he is a king. All the symbols on the reels are familiar faces from the previous game with all your favourite animal friends returning.
As for the music, there's a jungle beat with drums and other instruments creating an atmosphere that you'd expect to find an island.
Whilst the original only has 20 paylines, Return of Kong Megaways adds Megaways increasing the ways to win up to 117,649. There are fewer features but nothing too noticeable.
The left side of the reels contains the bet level whilst the spin button is to the right. It can be quite hard to see as it's subtly on a rock but you should be able to find it under Kong.
Thankfully, it seems that this slot has an average RTP of 96.03% which is refreshing to see as Blueprint Gaming slots tend to have ones that are under 96%. This slot also contains medium to high volatility level leading to giving the best of both high volatility wins mixed with some low ones.
Return of Kong Megaways has a maximum win of 50,000x your stake that can be achieved through the free spins round with the unlimited win multiplier.
Whilst this slot doesn't have the colossal amount of features that the original had - Return of Kong Megaways is absolutely fantastic.
Of course, there are fewer features but everything else is improved with a better design, better win potential and overall better experience. Fans of animal slots and the series should definitely check out Return of Kong Megaways.
