Monopoly Heights Review
The Monopoly slot series has become a staple within iGaming and it's almost as big as Rainbow Riches in terms of familiarity. Many people recognise the brand for the board game - but it's soon expanded into other avenues and has even surpassed the original.
Monopoly Heights is the next instalment in this huge franchise that plays on 5-reels with 1,024 ways to win (with up to 32,786) and features expanding reels and jackpots leading to some big wins of up to 2,500x the stake.
Design
One thing that will definitely catch your eye is the bright and colourful background of the slot. It looks like an idyllic city and something you'd expect to see from the actual Monopoly board game.
In the centre of the screen, there are the reels with different symbols relating to the game such as community chest and parking to emphasise the brand. Of course, Rich Uncle Pennybags aka Mr Monopoly returns in all of his glory in 3D and even animates.
As for the music, it's quite bonkers at times with some wacky noises and upbeat sounds throughout. It definitely adds a unique charm to the slot that you can't help but smile at.
Gameplay
Monopoly Heights is quite simple in terms of gameplay as there are expanding reels and a jackpot feature - but that's about it. Those looking for easy gameplay have definitely come to the right place.
Like most SG Digital slots, the menu buttons can be found at the bottom of the screen with the spin button and bet level. Further to the left of these, players will find an '?' button with the paytable and instructions.
Win Potential
Unfortunately, the maximum win for this slot is quite mediocre with a maximum win of 2,500x the stake that can be achieved through the fixed jackpot. Many players will be disappointed with this amount as it's considered quite low for an online slot.
The RTP for this medium volatility slot is also disappointing with a level of 95.85% which is unacceptable for a non-progressive jackpot slot.
Our Verdict
Monopoly Heights is quite a middle-of-the-road Monopoly slot as it contains an amazing design with some wonderfully simple gameplay, but the overall win potential is just too disappointing.
With both the RTP and maximum win being quite low, this slot could easily put off some players. Ultimately, fans of Monopoly should definitely check this slot out for the experience, but just be aware of the dissatisfying win potential.
