Little Bighorn Review
When people think of Nolimit City, they often think of extravagant and gruesome slots. It seems this perception is not going to be changed anytime soon with the release of Little Bighorn.
Inspired by the famous battle between Native Americans and the US Army, Little Bighorn is an action slot that follows the Native Americans in their battle with a unique Nolimit City twist.
Design
As soon as the slot opens up, you are greeted with a quintessential Nolimit City slot. The colour scheme is quite dark and grainy, but there is a huge amount of detail and intricate designs of the characters.
In the background, there are Native Americans riding horses charging towards battle on the Great Plains. On the reels, there are famous figures depicted throughout history such as Sitting Bull and General Custer along with many other familiar faces. This adds a whole new layer to the slot never seen before with Nolimit City.
All the characters are designed to look like a portrait from the 1800s and fit in with the grainy textures throughout. During wins, there are amazing images of scenes throughout the battle which are epic to see.
To round off the slot, there is an amazing guitar score paired with different drums and stringed instruments. It creates something that you'd expect to see in a grand Western film and certainly builds up the excitement.
Gameplay
Despite being a Nolimit City, the gameplay is fairly simple once you've spun the reels a few times. There are two bonus games followed by special wilds and respin mechanics. It can be quite overwhelming at first, but it's manageable after a few spins.
Like most Nolimit City slots, there is a bonus buy option for non-UK players to buy the bonus rounds. There is also an enhanced bet called scalp bet that costs an extra 50% but guaranteed a totem scatter.
The layout of the slot is quite common for a Nolimit City slot with the spin button to the right and the bet level to the left side. Any other menus are highlighted in white and yellow in case you need them.
Win Potential
Strangely enough, this slot does not fit into the crazy payout that Nolimit City is known for. However, that is not a bad thing as the maximum win is still high at 25,676x the stake which is more achievable that some of the other amounts from Nolimit City slots.
Of course, this slot does contain a high volatility level leading to larger wins but less often. This is accompanied by a decent RTP of 96.06% which is just over the average standard. Whilst the win potential is not as massive as other slots from Nolimit City, it's an excellent win potential that will please fans.
Our Verdict
Depending on the slot developer, Little Bighorn could have been a huge disaster. Of course, with Nolimit City, Little Bighorn becomes a classical slot that contains all the things that players want to see from the developer.
It hits all the right notes for us without being too tacky and tasteless. Overall, this is a solid slot from Nolimit City that has amazing replayability that will ensure it's a success.
