Book Del Sol: Multiplier Review
Prepare to explore the long-gone civilisations of the Aztecs in Playson’s Book Del Sol: Multiplier. This ‘Book Of’ slot focuses on the ancient Mesoamerican civilisation and plays on 5-reels with 10 paylines.
During the gameplay, the slot features many ‘Book Of’ tropes with expanding wilds, free spins and progressive multipliers leading to big wins of up to 10,000x the stake.
When the slot opens up, there is a gold and glowing background filled with different stone tablets relating to Aztec society. On the reels, there are various symbols relating to Aztecs with different totem heads, spirit animals and the adventurer.
As for the music, there are different animal noises throughout paired with drums and whistles. It creates something both ominous and intriguing at the same time that fits in well with the slot.
The base game of Book Del Sol: Multiplier is quite basic with nothing too interesting going on. Ultimately, the bonus round is where the most entertainment happens with the expanding symbols and multipliers.
At the right of the reels, there is a spin button and the bet level button. Further to the left, there is the bonus buy button that is available to jump to the free spins round at a cost. Sadly, this is currently not available in the UK.
Book Del Sol: Multiplier is mixed when it comes to the win potential. On the one hand, the RTP is under the average standard at 95.76% which is a little disappointing. There is also a high volatility level that leads to larger wins but less often.
Thankfully, the win potential improves in terms of the maximum win of 10,000x the stake which is a great amount for players and quite big for a ‘Book Of’ slot. The biggest amounts can be achieved throughout the free spins round.
For a ‘Book Of’ slot, Book Del Sol: Multiplier feels quite original and delivers a fresh take on the genre without changing too much. Of course, the design is nothing special and the gameplay doesn’t do anything original, but the combination of all elements comes together to make a wonderful ‘Book Of’ slot.
Whilst the RTP is lower than we’d like, it’s not too low to be completely off-putting. ‘Book Of’ fans looking for a big win of 10,000x the stake should look no further than Book Del Sol: Multiplier.
