Thanks for speaking with us. Can you tell us a little bit about Skull Bonanza and the inspiration behind the slot?
Burin: To be honest, the inspiration came from different, especially animated movies, centred around Dia de Los Muertos.
I liked how this festivity approaches remembering those who are no longer with us in a more positive way as opposed to how we deal with loss in our culture.
Mexican and Day of the Dead-inspired slots are pretty frequent within the iGaming world, what makes Skull Bonanza stand out from the rest?
Burin: In my opinion, it’s the eye-catching colourful graphics, Hispanic music and those perky Wild Skulls. They absolutely increase the game’s fun factor.

If you had to pick your favourite thing about Skull Bonanza, what would it be?
Burin: During the development of Skull Bonanza I got to learn a lot more about Dia de Los Muertos and what makes this occasion so special, trying to channel its atmosphere in our slot.
But I must admit, those Wild Skulls are my favourite. That is why they are at the centre of Skull Bonanza and carry the most entertainment value throughout the game. I enjoyed working on them even though they were one of the most difficult things to do.
What can slot players look forward to from SYNOT Games within the next few months?
Burin: Great game projects are on the way! I cannot reveal too much just yet, but some of those are playing into seasonal changes and some are based on never-before-seen themes in our portfolio. So stay tuned!
