Let us start by saying that the new slot is majestic! We loved the cut scene at the beginning, it’s truly big screen worthy. What was the inspiration behind Ancient Tumble?
The inspiration behind Ancient Tumble stems from a blend of classic adventure-themed content that has proven so popular with players, incorporating the mystery of the Cambodian jungle.
Our design team wanted to capture the thrill of exploring ancient temples and the excitement associated with that. They did fantastically to capture that essence in the cinematic cut scene at the beginning of the game, which really does set the tone for what is an incredibly immersive experience.
The designers and developers explored the rich heritage of Cambodian temples and jungles, ensuring that every element was culturally reflective. The team also drew inspiration and ideas from previous Tumble games that Relax has created into an award-winning series to produce a slot game that feels both visually compelling and offers captivating gameplay.
Tell us more about upgrade spins. We don’t see this mechanic much in Relax Gaming slots, so what compelled you to include them in Ancient Tumble?
The inclusion of upgrade spins in Ancient Tumble was driven by a desire to offer players a unique and engaging gameplay experience.
Upgrade spins add an extra layer of excitement and variety, allowing players to experience different aspects of the game already in the main game.
We truly felt that we needed to up the ante for players and improve on the gamification aspects of previous Tumble titles. The addition of upgrade spins was key in ensure all players come away from playing Ancient Tumble understanding that they have just engaged with a special game.
Relax recently released another Tumble slot, Sloth Tumble. Is the mechanic taking centre stage this year?
The Tumble mechanic has always been an important part of the Relax Gaming armoury. All of the games we bring to market serve huge importance; however, with Ancient Tumble being our game of the year, it will attract more attention as we launch our most feature-packed Tumble game to date.
The Tumble mechanic adds a dynamic element to the gameplay, where symbols fall and new ones take their place, creating continuous action and multiple winning opportunities within a single spin.
