The Good, the Bad and the SuperSlice Review
In the mid-1960s, the Spaghetti Western film genre really took off. Prior to this moment, most Westerns were straight-laced with a cliche cowboy that was the overall hero. Thankfully, Spaghetti Westerns shook this up with anti-hero characters that were not morally good but you still could root for.
Some of the biggest Spaghetti Westerns include Sergio Leone’s Dollars Trilogy which includes A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. It’s these films that set the inspiration for RAW iGaming’s The Good, the Bad and the SuperSlice slot.
Not content with reels or paylines, this slot does not contain any of those. Instead, there is a SuperSlice wheel that spins to determine the outcome. This could lead to cash prizes, bonus rounds or nothing at all!
However, this does not affect the gameplay as there are still multiple bonus rounds including an interactive pick-and-click mode and respins. Save a small Western town from a group of bandits called the Jameson gang and be rewarded with massive wins of up to 25,000x the stake.
Design
It wouldn’t be a grand Wild West slot without an epic score paired with rattles and exciting noises. The general score perfectly emulates exactly what you’d expect from a Wild West slot as you can see a showdown going down at sunset to this music.
As for the visuals, there is a background of the Wild West town with saloons and other traditional buildings. At first, this looks static but it’s actually animated! You can see horses moving slightly as well as people coming out of saloons.
Ultimately, the design perfectly captures the spirit of the Wild West without being too bland or overwhelming. The focus is still on the gameplay but it’s nice to have the design transporting you to this moment in time.
Gameplay
The base game contains two different wheels that can be spun. These wheels can deliver cash prizes, bonus rounds or nothing at all. There are no reels or paylines - everything is determined through the wheel.
During the gameplay, you’ll experience bonus rounds such as respins or the shootout. The Jameson Shootout is the best part of this game as you select targets to shoot. If you manage to get through all of the enemies without losing all your lives, then you can take on the leader Gus.
Nothing is too complicated throughout The Good, the Bad and the SuperSlice. Everything is simple and all you really have to do is just spin the wheel to see what happens.
Win Potential
As for the RTP, it’s between 90% to 95.56%. Whether your slot has 90% or 95.56%, both these amounts are too low for our standards. Sadly, it’s become commonplace for RAW iGaming slots to have lower RTPs which is a shame because the games are so incredible.
To match the bada*s gameplay and visuals, there is a high volatility level leading to larger wins but less frequently. We generally recommend that you have the bankroll to sustain yourself for this gameplay.
Finally, the biggest win in this slot is 25,000x the stake. This is a huge amount that will definitely please most high rollers and can be achieved through the bonus rounds. The massive amount of 25,000x the stake almost makes up for the low RTP.
Our Verdict
The Good, the Bad and the SuperSlice is an almost masterpiece of a slot. The gameplay is phenomenal and the features just complement it so well. Even the design is quite remarkable and pays homage to classical Western paintings.
Our only issue was the low RTP but it’s not too off-putting to stop you from playing. It stops this slot from being a masterpiece. Despite this, we still absolutely love this slot from start to finish. If you are a keen slot player, do yourself a favour and give this slot a spin!
