Napoleon Mega Moolah Review
Who would've thought that Napoleon Bonaparte and the Mega Moolah Jackpot would perfectly go together? That's precisely the case with Napoleon Mega Moolah but the slot gender flips Napoleon into a beautiful blonde lady.
Playing on 5-reels with 25 paylines, Napoleon Mega Moolah is developed by Microgaming's Aurum Signature Studios and is the next instalment in the Mega Moolah series. Ultimately, this slot features free spins and the mighty progressive jackpots leading to some mind-blowing wins.
Design
The slot's background isn't anything special with a blurry image with speckles of gold scattering around. As for the reels, they are see-through and allow the player to directly see the background.
All the symbols on the reels are related to Napoleon such as medals and Napoleon herself as well as traditional symbols such as fruit and playing card suits.
The music of the slot is quite traditional for a modern slot as there is a soft techno score playing throughout which is decent. Whilst it doesn't do anything original or inventive, it's decent enough for the slot.
Gameplay
There's not a huge amount going on in this slot apart from the free spins and the progressive jackpot. This makes it perfect for newcomers to the Mega Moolah series.
To the right of the reels, there is a spin button as well as the bet level. At the bottom left, there are additional settings for sound as well as a score table for the jackpot.
Win Potential
If this game was not a jackpot, then the win potential would be quite poor. There is a low volatility level leading to frequent wins but smaller ones at that. However, the maximum win for the base game is 1,800x your stake.
Despite this, there is the progressive jackpot leading to some imaginable wins ultimately leading to a low RTP of 93.42% to compensate. Whilst this is a low amount typically, it's expected for jackpot slots and fairly decent.
Our Verdict
Napoleon Mega Moolah is from the same people who brought Mega Moolah: The Witch's Moon but this slot is definitely more improved. The base game provides enough entertaining with the free spins round and low volatility - but everyone is here for the jackpot.
The concept of a female Napoleon slot is quite interesting and we'd hoped the developers would've gone the extra mile with the visuals and perhaps provided more context to the story. Despite this, Napoleon Mega Moolah is still recommended as a jackpot slot that should not be missed if you are hunting for the next jackpot.
