Don't be put off by the number of win lines in this game! There are only 19 in play but there are so many more ways to build your winning values. The returns aren't amazing for the winning symbols with royals producing just 0.7x for a six-of-a-kind win and pictures paying 3x for a six-of-a-kind win.
The way to boost these is with a wild symbol that can step in and substitute for pictures and royals and also the game's clever sticky mechanic helps out.
When you record a win, the winning symbols stay in place and the others will respin. A golden square is formed around the winning symbols and if another symbol lands to create a win or extend an existing one, the system continues. This is where wins start to grow and they get even better if the Golden Riches feature triggers.
During the same sequence, it's possible to see a rainbow symbol on the grid and activate Golden Riches. The golden squares now produce coins worth up to 500x, multipliers worth up to 20x or pots which collect the values of the coins and allow them to start again.
It's a little like the Razor Reveal feature in Razor Returns, but the values here are more modest.
I hope you’re sitting comfortably as there are many features to contend with. It all begins with FS scatter symbols and three, four or five of these produce the bonus action.
When you land three or four scatter symbols, you have a choice of bonus games and this can be Luck of the Pharaoh or Lost Treasures. Both come in a standard or super form and it depends if you get three or four scatters as to which one you receive.

Choosing lost treasures takes you off to a respins game where special symbols reset your three lives. The super versions just guarantee that certain types of special symbols are present when you play.
Five scatter symbols award Rainbow over the Pyramids and this is a free spins bonus with 12 spins and golden squares remaining until the end of the game. The big difference here is that a rainbow symbol is guaranteed to land on every spin.
The buy bonus options are plentiful but players in the UK won't be able to take advantage of these, unfortunately. For 3x, each spin is five times more likely to trigger a bonus game. 60 x gets you at least one rainbow symbol with each spin. 100x is a choice between the two standard bonus games and for 250x you choose between the super versions.

You don’t have to take the first bonus game when you score 3 or 4 scatters! You could choose this respin feature where coins and other special symbols reset your lives. The super game gets you an adding tablet on the first spin to increase coin values.

Obviously, big wins are available and you're going to see the biggest of all during the super bonus versions or even the five scatter symbol bonanza. The base game can produce the goods but I'm not sure you'll get near the 15,000x max payout without a few FS symbols. The volatility is medium and the RTP is 96.18%.
The mean streets of Paris have been swapped for a tranquil pyramid oasis somewhere in Egypt. Smokey dons a new disguise and looks just as disgruntled as he scratches his backside with a crook. The occasional French commentary isn't as forthcoming as it was in Le Bandit, which is a shame and you get a fairly standard Egyptian soundtrack that you can enjoy on mobiles as well.
Le Bandit had me captivated from the first time I hit the spin button and I was looking forward to Le Pharaoh immensely as a result. The gameplay is still as good but it didn't score quite as high on the cuteness scale, and that’s a shame. Either way, it’s still a great game to play and you’ll have to try both to see which you prefer.

Hacksaw does a lot of things really well, and one of those is making a kooky slot that mixes something 'normal' with an idea that's just the right side of weird.
Even though details are limited at present, you can pretty much guarantee a few things, though.
That's a tough one to answer so early on, but you can expect more of a cartoon vibe rather than a hyper-realistic photo creation. The Pharaoh will be an odd character and you can bet your life he'll make some funny comments! The game will certainly be available on all devices, including mobile, and you don't usually get any issues with lag from Hacksaw slots - they look great but they're fairly simple creations at heart.
