Jelly Multihops™ Review
Slot developers seem to have an unhealthy obsession with jelly and Red Tiger is continuing the trend today! Jelly Multihops™ is a clever maths model hidden behind a very simple facade and the subtlety of this game's features might only be appreciated by the most ardent slots fans. But either way, it is still a fun concept that many players will enjoy.
Design
There isn't an awful lot to write home about on the design side of things with a nice colourful background presenting the usual purple and blue hues. Presumably, we're off on some alien planet where the jelly-like characters are the local residents but they don't really integrate with the whole setup as they are dropping into place.
It is also a fairly standard musical contribution from the electronic soundtrack but it does build up a decent tempo to get you in the mood. All of the above can be enjoyed on various devices including desktops, tablets, smartphones and smart TVs as well.
Game Play
This game enjoys a scatterpays system and you will need at least 13 matching symbols to create a win. The biggest payouts can be found when 21+ symbols drop onto the grid. The Random Wild is available during the base game but we didn't see it appear until the free spins bonus for which we used the Bonus Buy system to enter—this won't be available in the UK.
Win Potential
The scatterpays combined with cascading reels can produce some decent wins during the base game but it will be the free spins bonus that offers the best potential. There is a max 10,000x payout available, the volatility is high and the RTP sits at 96.23%.
Our Verdict
On the face of it, Jelly Multihops™ is very similar to many other space-themed grid slots but you should have an appreciation for the Random Wilds that combine with the Multiplier Grid to create some clever gameplay and big payout potential.
Paul spent plenty of time in arcades up and down the UK discovering all of the best fruit machines and watching them grow into the incredible online slots we see today. He still loves the basic format but also has a soft spot for games with big bonus rounds that progress as you play. Immortal Romance is one of his favourite slots of all time.
