Your standard game board consists of 5 reels and 3 rows with winning symbols landing on consecutive reels to make a matching group. You get a fairly well-presented backdrop for the reels and it depicts a town that is presumably being taken over by the nasty little critters. The whole area seems to be abandoned and there's a clue that this invasion is underway thanks to the little spaceship that flies around at the top of the screen. Your ears are treated to some fun keyboard synth sounds and each time a SwiftHits symbol lands, you hear the alien release some guttural noises! The game looks crisp and well-designed on a range of screens and even on my Android mobile it still managed to look the part.
There isn't much to distinguish the two areas of this game given that everything that happens during the base game can indeed continue in the bonus zone as well. The main difference is that you could see some bigger standard wins thanks to the growing multiplier figure during the free spins. The max 5,000x payout can be achieved at any point, however.

I love a good space-themed slot and most of the time it involves aliens wriggling their slimy little bodies across the reels, which is always fun to watch. Even the royal symbols have a little gross animation as they are formed from the tentacles of one of these colourful lifeforms. The stats are fairly respectable and the gameplay is pretty fun compared to some other slots in this genre that I've tried, so I'm happy to give it my approval!
