Devil’s Crossroads Features
The base game in Devil's Crossroads is kind of like a feature in itself. You don't have any regular reels and paylines to play with, instead, you have four sections of a board that will move independently.
Each part consists of four symbols with the devil sitting in the centre of the grid. If you manage to land enough connecting, matching symbols from the outside to the devil, you'll collect the corresponding win.
Remember that the devil is a wild card in this production and the Royal symbols produce the lowest payouts. There are five unsuspecting victims making up the bigger payers with the businessman providing 10x for a group of five.
Multipliers and other modifiers
As a winning combination hits, winning symbols are removed and also any matching symbols on any other part of the grid. This forces a cascade with new symbols coming into play and an increase in the multiplier where additional symbols were removed. If your winning ways continue without a break, then you could see that multiplier applied to any wins that occur in that section of the board.
Scatter symbols can also increase the section multipliers when they appear next to the devil and four of them will trigger Redemption Spins. Three re-spins are reset each time a coin lands and if a column is completely filled with coins, then a modifier improves things a little.
You could have gluttony that adds its value to the other coins, wrath multiplies some of the coins, lust attempts to upgrade your spins, greed selects coins to collect values from their row/column, envy will turn some coins into a copy of the highest paying coin and pride adds its value to other coins in the row.
If you manage to upgrade Redemption Spins by either collecting four levels in the Upgrade Bar or having all four Scatters land next to the centre position in the main game, you'll experience features for filling rows of coins as well as columns. There's also a Devil Coin which may unlock another modifier in its column and row.
