Bomb Bonanza Review
Everyone loves a good mining slot inspired by the Wild West. It takes players back to the American frontier where mining could lead to some amazing finds such as big wins.
Pragmatic Play took this mentality into Bomb Bonanza in hopes that it'll deliver this to players. Playing on 5-reels with 50 paylines, this high volatility slot is all about free spins with five different levels with new bonuses.
Design
The game takes place in an American West town with houses and buildings built with wood. In the middle of the screen, there are the reels and a huge hole in the ground created by bombs.
To the right of the reels, there is a miner with bombs and a lighter ready to blow up the next one. It's clear that this is utter chaos and that the miner is willing to do whatever for gold.
All the symbols on the reels are related to mining such as the panning dishes, pick axes and bombs. The music is a lighthearted song with multiple guitars creating something that would be relevant to the time whilst adding to the atmosphere.
Gameplay
There is literally nothing else to this game aside from the free spins round. Landing 3 or more free spin symbols triggers this feature and landing golden nuggets upgrades the level for free spins.
Like most Pragmatic Play slots, the bottom of the reels contains the spin button and the bet level. To the left side, there are additional settings for players in case they need them.
Win Potential
On the one hand, this slot has a great win potential with a fantastic RTP of 96.46% - but this is completely overlooked by the ridiculously low maximum win.
Pragmatic Play is notorious for poor wins and this slot is no different. Players can expect wins of up to 2,015x the stake which is a low for a high volatility slot. For players looking for bigger wins, this is not the slot for you.
Our Verdict
Bomb Bonanza looks amazing and has some interesting moments with the free spins round, but there is nothing unique or special about this slot. That's not to say that the gameplay and experience won't be fun, but this is not the slot for enthusiasts looking for the next big thing.
The main issue in this slot is the low maximum win which will definitely put people off from playing. We recommend giving Bomb Bonanza a spin if you like simple mining slots with easy features as this slot definitely delivers on that.
