Blood Suckers Megaways Review
The original Blood Suckers is regarded as a classic by many slot enthusiasts as it has one of the highest RTPs and also has a unique design throughout. Sadly, the official sequel, Blood Suckers 2, failed to capture this magic and has faded into oblivion.
Deciding to go back to their roots, Blood Suckers Megaways retains the original design from the first game and brings back everything that was great about it, bringing in new elements such as Megaways and extra modifiers. This will surely be a feast for the ages, so do not miss out on Blood Suckers Megaways.
Design
The comic book design from the original returns with all the characters coming back as well. You have the suave-looking blonde gentlemen drinking blood as well as the nosferatu-looking man and gothic lady. The same can be said for lower-paying symbols as there are gloves of garlic, Holy Bibles and various weapons to defeat the vampires.
Even the background is almost identical with a Victorian street paired with drunken people and vampires creeping through the night. The developers definitely wanted to recapture the magic of the original but we were hoping there would be something slightly different throughout with the visuals.
The audio is fantastic throughout with eerie ambient music in between spins that is quite haunting. There are even the occasional bat noises to add to the mix. This slot may not look like a modern slot but the design is decent enough and delivers a scary atmosphere.
Gameplay
Whilst the original was not bad for gameplay, the main feature was the free spins round with the pick-and-click before it. However, that's not the case with this slot as there are random modifiers that can trigger throughout leading to wilds and multipliers.
There are two types of wilds throughout this slot with the wild and Super Wild feature. The Super Wild expands on the reels and adds potential multipliers of up to x5. This paired with the Megaways leading to up to 117,649 ways to win, makes Blood Suckers Megaways far superior to the original slot.
Win Potential
The main difference between this Megaways slot and the original with the win potential is the volatility. The first game contained a low amount leading to frequent but small wins, whilst this sequel has high volatility leading to bigger wins but less often.
The RTP is still ridiculously high at 97.88% which is incredible for an online slot and easily makes this a must-play. There is even a maximum win of 20,500x the stake in this slot which will appeal to high rollers.
Some versions of this slot may contain the Red Tiger Daily Jackpot which will lower the RTP but add in the chance to win on a progressive jackpot. Check with your chosen slot site beforehand to see if this jackpot is activated.
Our Verdict
Blood Suckers Megaways is the sequel that fans truly deserved from the start! The game is faithful to the original in terms of the design and core theme - but changes certain elements to modernise the slot such as the volatility and the gameplay.
From the first spin, you'll be captivated by this slot and we expect this slot to become one of the biggest slots of the year! For a fang-tastic slot, give Blood Suckers Megaways a spin.
