With six regular reels and one horizontal reel at the top of the game area, Almighty Bear Megaways offers up to 117,649 win ways. Each reel can show between two and seven symbols and wins must start from the leftmost reel.
Winning symbols include royals with payouts worth up to 1x for a six-of-a-kind win and picture symbols are made up of various wild animals. The best of the lot is the bear with a 50x prize for a group of six.
After recording a win, winning symbols disappear and are replaced by new ones. This cascade method means that you can continue to land extra prizes on the same spin.
During the base game, you might be fortunate enough to see four or more scatter symbols land. This is the requirement for triggering the free spins bonus and any symbols above the minimum of four will get you an extra five free spins.

A huge max win doesn't necessarily indicate great win potential in a slot and I'm scratching my head, trying to work out how anyone is going to land 50,000x. Admittedly, the volatility is high so you could see an extraordinary run of spins throughout the base game but it will take some time to produce such a payout. The RTP is a little low at 95%.
Regardless of whether you are playing on desktop or mobile, you don't want to get too excited about the artistic arrangement. The music is a little mystical and nondescript and the symbols fail to bring any real character to the game area. It's nice enough, but like I said, don't get your hopes up.
I was expecting a little more from Almighty Bear Megaways given the bold title. The bear does exist but being the highest payer, you won't see him very often. You witness him slashing his way through winning combinations, so I can't say there's no animation but that's about it! There's potential to land a massive max win but the base game didn't do a lot for my balance.
