Wild 1 Review
It's the end of the world but it's not all doom and gloom. The survivors have banded together to make the world even better where old machines are the new gods of humanity. Think Mad Max with a unique Peter & Sons twist.
Playing on 5-reels with 4,096 ways to win, Wild 1 is an action slot from Peter & Sons that shows the world in a post-apocalyptic state. Throughout the game, there are multiple wilds and free spins leading to the biggest wins.
Design
From opening up the slot, it's clear that this is a Peter & Sons slot. The designs of the characters are quirky and unusual, but familiar to fans of the developers. In the background of the slot, there are various old cars that are stripped bare whilst resting on grass that has definitely seen better days.
The reels in this slot are set out like a race track with different cars that have clearly been modified for the race. Alongside the reels, there are spikes and decapitated body parts to add to the reels. To finish it all off, there's a guy chained to a podium constantly playing the guitar, just like in Mad Max: Fury Road.
In terms of the music, it's a mixture between classic rock and blues with a distinct song playing throughout. It feels like something you'd hear at a soapbox derby and fits in brilliantly.
Gameplay
Whilst the design is incredible, the gameplay is just as good. There are multiple wilds to keep playing entertained as well as a free spins round leading to some exciting moments.
At the bottom of the screen, players will find the spin button and bet level button as well as any other menus that they may need.
Win Potential
Wild 1 is almost perfect but is let down by the win potential. The RTP is decent at 96.10% and has a respectable hit rate of 26.79%, but this high volatility slot has a low maximum win of 5,000x the stake.
Whilst this will deliver some decent wins in free spins, it's under the average expected for a high volatility slot.
Our Verdict
Wild 1 is easily a first-class online slot from Peter & Sons as the game is absolutely bursting with incredible gameplay and has a charming design to it.
Sadly, the win potential isn't anything too special, but it's not low enough to put off people playing. Peter & Sons constantly blow slot enthusiasts away with amazing games that can only be found with them.
