Robbin’ Robin Review
Everyone knows of the honourable Robin Hood and his group of vigilantes as they stole from the rich to give to others. This Iron Dog Studio slot will give you the chance to steal 7,500x your stake from the rich!
Playing on 5-reels and 1,024 paylines, Robbin’ Robin is a high volatility slot that is all about the adventure.
Design
The visuals look straight out of a Disney movie as all the character and environment just look utterly charming. Like most Iron Dog Studio titles, the worlds are fully realised with so much detail and grace. From wanted posters to Robin to simple clouds moving, Robbin’ Robin is full of incredible detail. There’s no stone left untouched in this slot and it fully feels like a fun adventure.
Alan A’ Dale even plays his famous lute for the score as it’s a soft and majestic tone played throughout. You’ll feel transported back to the age of Robin Hood. Ambient sounds fit in well and aren’t too overwhelming - so they’ll be no need to mute.
Gameplay
Whilst the design may be intrinsic, the gameplay is straightforward. You set your bet and spin to win. There is the option to use the buy feature by wagering part of your stake to buy a feature as well.
Settings and other guides on how to play can be found on the left-hand side in a black bar. Similarly, the spin button is in a black circle at the bottom right of the screen with autospin above it. You can choose between 5 and 99 autospins with a maximum bet of 25.00.
Win Potential
There’s great RTP potential with 96.40% in Robbin’ Robin with loads of features to help you win the maximum. Rolling 5 of the treasure chests will award you 500x your stake. Doing this during free spins after activating additional free spins and up to 15x multipliers, you can win a mighty 7,500x your stake.
With the slot being a high volatility slot, there’s the expectation for the payout to be a little bigger. Ultimately, this may be the biggest (and only real) letdown on this slot.
Our Verdict
Iron Dog Studios have created something spectacular with this adventure slot - but it does have a few teething issues. The use of the whole gang from Robin Hood lore is fantastic and utilised really well with some unique designs...but the maximum payout at 7,500x your stake is hard to get past. Especially with the slot being a high volatility slot - it just needs to be a little higher.
That’s the only problem with the slot and if that’s something you can get past - then check out Robbin’ Robin.
