To score a win in this game you’re relying on the cluster pays system. This means that groups of matching symbols must be connected horizontally or vertically to form a winning combo. You will need a minimum of five matching symbols to get a win with the lowest payers worth just 0.1x.
Groups of over 26 matching symbols are possible with the top players awarding you 500x for the orange shark symbols. Along with these regular symbols, you can see wilds and wild multipliers.
Wilds simply substitute for all of the above and the multiplier values may sometimes land alongside and these are worth up to 10x. As wins are recorded, the winning symbols are removed and in their place is an ink stain. This is important because it takes part in the Teta-Grab mechanic.
If there is an Eye of Otto symbol present on the screen alongside the ink stains, then this mechanic will randomly grab a symbol on the grid and replace all of the ink stain places with this chosen symbol. It may create another win for you. It can be low, high, free spins, wilds or even wild multiplier symbols.
You will need at least 3 FS symbols to make it through to the basic free spins game and this goes by the name Eighth Arm is the Charm. The number of spins you get depends on the number of scatter symbols that take you into the bonus game.
During this feature, you benefit from ink stains not disappearing after each spin; instead, they will remain until they are activated by the Tenta-Grab mechanic.

Standard base game wins could provide you with some decent payouts if you hit large clusters of higher paying symbols but it's nothing compared to what those wild multiplies will do for your balance! On top of that, you have the Tenat-Grab mechanic and this adds a whole new dynamic to the situation. If you've played Hacksaw games before, you aren't going to mistake this one as being the creation of any other developer. It's a greyed-out industrial background with a basic grey grid and even some of the symbols are lacking colour. Our titular character stays menacingly to the side of the reels and you don't mind him being there as you know he could produce a special feature from time to time.
