Numero Uno Review
Who would've thought to combine Mexican wrestling with animals? Microgaming apparently in Numero Uno that sees dogs fighting to become the champion to become number one.
Like most modern slots, this game plays on 5-reels with 243 ways to win and features a whole host of mechanics to deliver amusing gameplay that will certainly leave you barking.
Design
When the slot opens up, players will be greeted by flashing lights and dogs waiting for the match to start underneath the ring. There is a red ring in the centre of the screen which is the stage for this slot.
The reels are in the middle of the ring adorned with a purple colour and filled with different-looking dogs for the match as well as a chicken referee. To fit in with the wrestling theme, there is a scatter bell on the reels that are often used to start the match.
As this is a Mexican wrestling slot, there is a mariachi score throughout the slot with trumpets, guitars and other instruments to create something lighthearted and fun for the slot.
Gameplay
Numero Uno does contain a multitude of features throughout the slot such as wild stacks, rolling reels, free spins and multipliers - but there is nothing fresh or innovative in this slot. Players looking for something creative and new should look elsewhere.
On the right side of the screen, there is a spin button as well as a bet level button. This is where players can begin the game as well as find other menus such as sound settings and the paytable.
Win Potential
This slot could've been turned from a mediocre slot into a classic one if the win potential was better than it actually was. This high volatility slot has an under the average RTP of 95.22% and there is no reason for this as this slot does not feature a progressive jackpot or a brand.
The biggest win for this slot is a measly 2,100x the stake which can be achieved through the free spins round with the multipliers. It's under the average standard just like the RTP and will completely put off seasoned slot players.
Our Verdict
Numero Uno certainly had the potential to be number one but there are many niggles throughout that stop it from being a memorable slot. Whilst the design isn't anything special, it's decent enough to not be an eyesore.
The same can be said for the gameplay as there is a lot going on meaning that players will have a great time throughout the playthrough. Sadly, the biggest issue is the win potential that will put off keen slot players. However, if you are looking for a fun little dog-wrestling slot and you aren't bothered about the win potential, give Numero Uno a spin.
