This highly volatile gun-toting slot starts you off with a 6x4 game area plus the Zap reel above it, which adds another 6 positions. There are no paylines. You just have to land 3 matching symbols on adjacent reels, and the Zap Reel effectively gives you an extra chance to hit winning combinations.
Every time you hit a winning combination, its symbols disappear, and all the symbols above drop down, or from the side in the case of the Zap Reel. This process continues until there are no more winning combinations.

The game’s format is pretty much a copy of the developer’s previous DonKey & the GOATS just with the boxing ring substituted for the Wild West. In the same way, the graphics aren’t exactly impressive, certainly not as impressive as other Western slots we’ve seen. Regardless, it’s well set out and even though the game is packed with features, it’s simple enough to follow. I also enjoyed the Spaghetti Western scores while I played!
It’s the gameplay which really makes this game stand out. You start off with a relatively big game area, plus the Zap Reel above it, so there are lots of win ways already. The Wild West rewards and symbol avalanches serve to keep the base game interesting, too. I also liked how you can spin the Prospector Wheel to dictate the number of free spins and the size of the game area in the bonus round.
I’m a big fan of winning combination reactions, as they effectively give you more spins for the price of just one. In the bonus round, you can potentially get up to a 9x6 game area, hence the gargantuan number of win ways. I think the max win of 25,000x is fantastic, but the volatility is very high. The RTP is 96%.
AvatarUX has struck gold and it's fair to say that Nugget is an absolute triumph. Despite the fairly lacklustre graphics, the game’s aesthetic style is still engaging. What really kept my eyes fixed on the screen was that there’s so much to do, so why not give it a shot?
