Nightfall Review
Many within the iGaming world know Push Gaming as the slot developer delivering cutesy looking slots with explosive gameplay. Nightfall is a complete departure for them with a darker tone leaning more towards horror.
Playing on 5-reels with 20 paylines, Nightfall features a medium to high volatility level with free spins, multipliers and instant prizes leading to wins reaching up to 20,000x your stake. Embrace the darkness with Nightfall!
Design
Set on top of a cathedral top next to spooky gargoyles is where you'll find Nightfall. In the distance, there are various other beautifully crafted buildings with dim lights lit - but they'll not be enough to save you from the darkness.
Occasionally, there are bats and mist moving across the screen to build up the atmosphere even more. As for the reels, there are a variety of different symbols that all look like classical sculptures or architecture that you'd find in a casino.
The music in this slot is definitely the best part and is something that you could easily listen to on repeat all day. There's a classic rock beat with drums and guitars followed by bells and synthesizer noises to make something completely original.
Gameplay
On the surface, the base game seems quite simple but there are loads of hidden features lurking in the shadows. Above the reels, there are instant prizes slabs that can be triggered as well as Fireball Multipliers leading to amazing wins.
At the bottom of the screen, there's the spin button to the bottom right followed by the bet level to the left. Anything you may need can be found on the bottom bar.
Win Potential
Firstly, the RTP is a respectable amount at 96.36% which is over the average standard of 96%. In addition to this, Nightfall contains a medium to high volatility level leading to a mixture of low and high volatility gameplay - but leaning more towards high.
As for the maximum win, there's an incredible maximum win of 20,000x your stake which can be achieved through the free spins round with multipliers.
Our Verdict
Nightfall is not at all what you'd expect from Push Gaming but in the best way possible. This slot shows that Push Gaming can adapt to any theme or style.
The darker tone of Nightfall fits in well with the features and overall design which are fantastic. It feels like Nightfall is the darker prequel to Fat Drac that we didn't know we needed.
Honestly, there's no reason not to play Nightfall as the gameplay, win potential and design are absolutely incredible.
