Money Track Review
Since the release of the Money Train series, every slot developer is trying to recapture the magic and create something spectacular. Stakelogic is the next one to try this with Money Track.
The focus of this slot is to trigger the bonus respin game - but there is a twist. Unlike most other respin mechanics, the bonus round resets with each spin but this respin counter only resets with the bottom row being filled.
Players looking for something refreshing in a respin mechanic will certainly be delighted with what's on offer with Money Track.
Design
As this is a Western slot, the audio for this slot is exactly what you'd expect. There are guitars, rattles, harmonicas and drums throughout the music. In addition to the music, there are ambient sounds of trains to fit the theme.
There's no denying that this slot is a Money Train knock-off but the developer is not trying to hide it. The slot takes place on a train with a Wild West town in the distance.
All the symbols on the reels are related to the game such as the outlaws and the train symbols. Whilst this isn't the best-designed slot from Stakelogic, the overall quality is pretty good.
Gameplay
When the slot opens up, the focus on the base game is the land train symbols to unlock enhancers. As soon as the bonus round begins, the respin mechanic kicks in but shakes up the typical format with the bottom row mechanic.
The menus in this slot can all be found at the bottom of the screen with the bet level and spin button. Special options such as Super Stake and bonus buy can be found at the bottom.
Win Potential
Like most Stakelogic slots, the win potential is pretty good in this slot. Unfortunately, the RTP is under the average level of 95.70% but it's not too low to be bothersome.
Paired with the massive maximum win of 20,000x the stake, the win potential is decent enough. Throughout our playthrough, we never felt that the RTP was an issue and that our wins were frequent enough for a medium to high volatility slot.
Our Verdict
Money Track is actually thoroughly enjoyable for an obvious Money Train clone. This could've easily been one that was tacky and tasteless, but the respin mechanic shakes up the gameplay with the bottom row feature.
That's not to say that this slot will revolutionise the iGaming industry like Money Train, but there will be a handful of players that keep coming back to Money Track for the delightful gameplay.
