Cherry Supreme Review
After the incredible success of Lady Luck Games' hit slot Madame Clues, it seems that the developers wanted to do something different and deliver a traditional fruit machine slot - but with the unique finishing touches of the slot developer.
This is where Cherry Supreme comes into the mix and plays on 5-reels with 10 paylines along with a medium volatility level. The retro slot also features free spins and supreme wilds to some supreme wins.
Design
The first thing that'll hit you when you play this slot is the epic 80s music that plays in-between spins and just continuously builds up the atmosphere. It's the sort of soundtrack that you could listen to all day and it's refreshing to have something pleasing on the ears instead of the usual horrible sounds you get on fruit machine slots.
Naturally, the visuals mix well with the sounds as the background features a neon dream on various purples and blues. All the symbols on the reels have a neon edge to them as well making them stand out whilst retaining the classical edge that you'd expect to find in fruit machine slots.
Gameplay
As this slot is a fruit machine slot, you can expect easy to follow gameplay but with the added bonus of the supreme wilds and free spins. The team at Lady Luck Games has combined the simplicity of fruit machine slots and added modern mechanics to give something that is genuinely entertaining.
Underneath the reels, there is a spin button followed by the bet level and an information section. The information section contains the details on the payline and features in case you need any extra assistance.
Win Potential
Unfortunately for us, this is where Cherry Supreme begins to lose us. The RTP is 95.50% which is just under the average standard and we generally advise people to avoid these slots unless there's a huge maximum win or jackpot.
Sadly, the maximum win for this slot is recorded at 170x your stake which is low for an online slot - especially one with medium volatility. Despite the low maximum win, we found our gameplay to be quite generous with the supreme wild feature happening more than we'd expected.
Our Verdict
It's no secret that fruit machine slots are hit and miss for players meaning that Cherry Supreme won't be for everyone. However, it's clear that Lady Luck Games has worked to modernise this slot to make it more appealing to other slot enthusiasts.
The design is utterly charming and the music is so catchy that you'll be humming it all day. Regretfully, the win potential is the only thing that brings the slot down.
Despite the low win potential, we found the experience of Cherry Supreme quite satisfying and it's definitely worth a spin if you love this genre with a twist - but be aware of the lower win potential.
