It's probably fair to say that Bill & Coin was created with bonus hunters in mind. However, there are a couple of nice additions to the Base game and a fun theme that make this a good all-round slot in my opinion.
You've got a 6x4 grid with wins landing on consecutive reels to give you 4,096 winlines. Across these lines, you are looking for regular paying symbols and Bonus symbols as well. The low-paying regulars are the royals while fruits, bells, red sevens and diamonds begin to increase their offering in that order. Six diamonds will get you 10x your bet.
Any wins that land will trigger a tumble with winning symbols being removed and new ones dropping down into place. As this happens, the multiplier begins to grow up to 5x. A break in the winning tumbles means the multiplier resets back to x1.
Three bonus symbols trigger a chance to choose between three different Bonus games. It's up to you which one you like the most so why not try them all out for size? The first, and arguably the most exciting, Bonus round is Coin Track and this presents a trail of coins that begin on the left and make their way over to the right. You start with four coins and they each have multiplier values which correspond to your bet amount. With each of your five free spins, an additional coin is added to the track. The idea is that Collector symbols will drag these coins off the grid and put them in your kitty. I don't know if it is just me but Bill & Coin really grabbed me as soon as I saw it appear. The characters are cute and lovable, the base game is fun enough and the choice of three Bonus games is just outrageous!
It's an odd soundtrack that accompanies the action and you could be excused for thinking that you were back in the 80s watching a bit of dead air between two television shows. Both of the characters make various silly sounds and comments and even the most serious slot fans out there will probably have a wry smile on their faces. There isn't much to the theme other than the feeling of cash and luxury that outlines the reels.
I mentioned a little earlier that this game was probably created with bonus play in mind and those who can head straight to the Bonus may want to do so. But that doesn't mean that the Base game can't offer plenty of action and there is still every chance that you can trigger a Bonus game soon enough. Take your pick and see which one you prefer. My money is on most fans going for the Coin Track.
