In my opinion, there wasn't much separating the base game from the bonus game in terms of win potential. The jackpot prizes are available all the time and the Bullion Blitz symbol seemed to land just as frequently in the first part of the game. Admittedly, it's nice when you don't have to pay for your spins so I'm not complaining that the bonus round was included.
To prove my point, my biggest win in the base game was 76x and my biggest bonus game win was 75x.
Even though the regular paylines have been removed, you still get the impression that you're going to pick up prizes very regularly despite the high volatility. Is 10,000x achievable? Who knows, but it wouldn't take many jackpot symbols to get you there.
Nobody plays games like this for the bright gold glow, cheesy soundtrack and brash symbols. It's all about the bling and it's not really my scene. However, it's exactly what the developer was going for and some players might surprise me and fall in love with the overly obvious approach. Either way, the design team have done a decent job of putting things together in a coherent fashion and it's easy to play on both laptop and mobile.
I was surprised by the win potential in Bullion Blitz. I assumed that the lack of regular paylines would hamper my progress but I couldn't have been more wrong.
