Find The Diamonds Review
Back in March 2022, iSoftBet decided it was time to shake up the slot world with something entirely new. This led to the birth of mine slots in the mainstream slot community with the release of Gold Digger: Mines.
As this game was so popular, iSoftBet then expanded the game offering with Aztec Gold Mines and Hot Shots: Mines. Just like the original, these games proved to be popular and a winning formula for the slot developer.
Fast-forward to 2023 and iSoftBet is starting off strong with its first-ever mine slot of the year with Find the Diamonds. The game itself is almost identical to the previous games and offers the same amount of suspense and entertainment.
Design
There's not much to say about the overall design of this game as it's not too special. The background is a tacky-looking blue background with different diamonds scattered throughout. These diamonds happen to float but that's about it.
As for the grid itself, there are generic-looking diamond symbols and bombs. That's all there is to the visuals of the slot. Thankfully, the music features a fitting track with a dance-inspired song. Whilst it's not going to win any awards, the slot is decent enough with the design.
Gameplay
Whilst the design of the slot is nothing to really write about, the gameplay definitely is. That is the main draw to this game as the gameplay is so unique and entertaining.
The game plays on a grid of 5x5 with the goal of collecting diamonds whilst avoiding mines. It's simple enough that any slot enthusiast can pick it up. We literally couldn't get enough of the gameplay and constantly found ourselves going back even after we finished our session.
Win Potential
There is no volatility in this slot - but there are RTP ranges. The RTP ranges from 94.00% - 96.96% with the higher amount being with fewer mines throughout the playthrough. The more mines that are in your game equals less diamonds to collect which is less money potentially paid out.
Sadly, the maximum win for this slot is only 200x the stake - but it definitely feels like more at times with the gameplay. Whilst this may seem low for online slots, it's fairly average for mine games.
Our Verdict
Whilst it's hard to say that this is our favourite mine game, Find the Diamonds is still enjoyable and does the genre justice. However, we do wish that the design was better or that the developers had higher RTP like the other games.
iSoftBet's latest mine game is definitely a diamond in the rough but we loved it. This is a must-play if you love mine games and perfect for slot players looking for something more interactive.
