Players can choose to bet anywhere between 10p and £100 per spin. The 5x4 game area starts off with 1,024 ways to win, but that can increase to 100,000 as play goes on and Stackways symbols expand—I’ll explain later.
Winning combinations have to start from the leftmost reel. Low pay symbols are Jack to Ace, with five-of-a-kind paying out up to 0.7x the bet. Landing 5 matching character symbols pays out between 2 and 4 times the bet. These animated inanimate objects in order of value are a padlock, an alarm clock, a camera, a bomb and Benny the Beer. There are no Wild symbols.
Aside from landing winning combinations made up of the standard pay symbols, there are also Stackways symbols. The Regular Stackway symbols have values of 2,3 and 4, and the Question Mark Revealing Stackways symbols have incremental values of between 5 and 10. These numbers relate to the total number of positions that will be occupied by the expanding, or should I say ‘stacking’, Stackways symbols.
The Stackways symbols take the form of symbols that can potentially form part of a winning combination, thereby increasing its value. In fact, if there is no possible winning combination on the grid, the Stackways symbols won’t activate. If more than one winning combo is possible, the Stackway symbols will form part of one at random.
If you land 3 FS Scatter symbols, you enter the bonus round, which starts you off with 10 free spins. At the outset, 2 pay symbols are randomly allocated the honour of being Special symbols. When these Special symbols land on at least 3 reels—any 3 reels—you’ll see a number between 2 and 10 shown below those reels. Those reels are then filled with that number of Special symbols, thereby increasing your wins again.

I’d say a 10,000x is quite generous for a medium-volatility slot. A 96.17% RTP isn’t bad either. Stackways symbols seem to drop fairly frequently, not to mention the frequency with which normal winning combinations land—in my limited experience.
