3 Clown Monty 2 Review
Who doesn't love a clown? Me, that's who! These horrible characters make my skin crawl and I hope you appreciate just how much I had to suffer to bring you this review. It's unsurprising that the Wild pimp gorilla character was by far my favourite and he also shares top billing for the max symbol payout.
If you like clowns, then I don't see why the artwork in Three Clown Monty 2 wouldn't fill you with delight. Amusingly, the circus seems to be downtown next to a dive bar with a motel upstairs. I imagine these shady characters stumble between the two quite regularly. A few neon signs and twinkly light bulbs provide a little animated relief from the reels and the soundtrack is perfectly in keeping with the theme.
Multiplier Wilds will be your best friend throughout the Base game with up to 5x available for any wins that they help to complete. This gets a whole lot better in the Bonus round with a completely disproportionate 500x up for grabs. You never know what multiplier you're going to get, so keep an eye on the gorilla smoking a cigar at the top of the screen to give you a hint.
I don't have a lot of experience with the first outing that Three Clown Monty brought us but from what I can see, one of the biggest differences is that the win potential has been slashed in half to 10,000x. However, the volatility seems to have grown a little more lenient on your balance with a seven out of 10 rating. The RTP is 96.26%.
When 3 Clown Monty started its adventure on my laptop screen, I thought there was going to be a bit more involved. Overlay symbols, multipliers, Wilds and Scatters all appear throughout the standard part of the slot, but they didn't do a heck of a lot to increase the tension factor. Triggering the Pick-A-Win bonus was fun enough, but only because it's a guaranteed win and not because there was anything entertaining about how the Bonus played out. You're walking Wilds during the free spins are definitely worth the wait and if anyone's looking for a big win, they might find it in this area. It's perhaps a slot for fans of both circuses and a decent opportunity to land some loot. I'm only a fan of the latter!
