Tales of Asgard: Freya's Wedding Review
The Ice King of Jotunheim, Thrym, has stolen the precious Mjolnir and will only give it back if Freya marries him. Of course, Freya refuses so it's up to Thor to disguise himself in order to gain back his beloved weapon.
Tales of Asgard: Freya's Wedding is definitely a WTF slot and is absolutely bonkers in terms of style but thankfully the gameplay remains solid. Play'n GO has shown its wacky side with this slot and if that's what you are wanting in a slot - then do not miss out on this one.
Set in Jotunheim, the entire background is an ice kingdom with a table full of food in the distance. This is clearly the setting for the wedding of Freya (aka Thor) and Thrym.
On the reels, you'll find Loki, Odin and Thrym along with two different versions of Thor aka the bride and the normal outfit.
Thankfully, this slot knows that it's not serious with comedic lines from all the characters along with jaunty music for the wedding.
Like most Play'n GO slots, you can expect solid gameplay with random features occurring at any moment paired with free spins and other bonuses.
There's nothing too complicated about this game as it's supposed to be a goofy slot filled with enjoyable moments.
Surprisingly, this slot is a medium volatility one with a mixture of high and low volatility wins which is a nice change for Play'n GO. Alongside this, there's a decent RTP of 96.40%.
There is a low maximum win of 2,500x your stake - but this isn't too bad for a medium volatility slot but low compared to other games.
This is definitely a slot that was conceived at a Christmas party because it's absolutely bonkers. Despite this, the overall premise and slot are worth a spin with some hilarious moments.
Thankfully, the gameplay with the modifiers, multipliers and free spins all combine to make this slot playable. We doubt this slot will change the world, but Tales of Asgard: Freya's Wedding is a fun slot that doesn't take itself too seriously.
