To win, players just need to land matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel. The low-pay symbols are your standard 10 to Ace and a 5-of-a-kind win will pocket you up to 0.25x. In the same way, the high-value symbols, which consist of the Enterprise’s highest-ranking officers, can be worth up to 1x the stake. When you hit a winning combination, those symbols disappear and a cascade brings more symbols and more potential wins.

Full disclosure: I'm not a huge Star Trek fan - that said, I've been around long enough to know just how excited fans will be to see this release. Given Star Trek: The Next Generation’s features and presentation, this could indeed be a slot worthy of a special seat at the Starfleet table.
The action takes place on the Enterprise’s transport deck and the game's symbols don't so much drop as teleport in. The graphics and colours, although a little on the simple side, are, as Jean Luc Picard would put it, engaging. He and all the other high-ranking officers of the Starship Enterprise are well-rendered within their corresponding symbols. The music and sound effects fit perfectly with the Star Trek aesthetic and although the bonus features are quite complex, the layout helps to save it from feeling like rocket science.
The gameplay is fantastic - what with the very popular cascade mechanic and the bonus features are a lot of fun, not to mention potentially lucrative. You only need to hit 3 cascades to trigger respins, which can then lead to the Warp Speed Wheel, which can then lead to the game’s 10,000x max win!
The RTP is a little on the low side at 94.35% but the medium-high volatility means that you should see fairly regular wins of a decent size and the occasional big ones thrown in too. 10,000x is a superb max win that’ll provide enough fuel to get you to your next Trekkie convention.
