Quick Cash Review
Developers are always coming up with a new take on the fruit machine theme, but it’s rare to find cherries and bells served up with disco beats pounding away in the background. There’s a Wild symbol too, which isn’t always available in this type of game, as well as an exciting Respin Bonus feature.
Design
This is essentially a basic five-reel, three-row slot, although reels 4 and 5 have been designed to look bigger than the others. This isn’t to denote that they’ll hold any more than three symbols each though, but it serves to remind you that the prize values become bigger if you manage to link up cash symbols that far.
There’s a retro, 70s feel to the game, helped along by some funky background beats. And the playing card icons are created from neon tubes, which helps to reinforce the general retro vibe. It looks good, but does it deliver in terms of gameplay?
Gameplay
Set your wager, spin the reels and try to match up symbols across the ten fixed paylines. The exception is the cash symbol, depicted as a speaker. Two or more cash symbols on reels 1 and 2 will release their prize values, with the bigger payouts reserved for reels 4 and 5.
Land three cash symbols on reel 1 to activate the Respins Bonus, which clears the grid of all other game symbols. This feature is similar to the Link & Win mechanic, which is always a favourite with slot players. New cash symbols that land are held on the reels, with the round ending when no respins remain or the grid is filled with cash symbols.
Win Potential
Quick Cash is a medium-volatility game, so most bankrolls should support a decent spinning session, especially when those cash symbols start filling up the reels. Don’t just take our word for it though – try a few demo spins to check for yourself what your perfect wagering sweet spot will be for this game.
Cash symbols are worth up to 75x your bet, with the highest prize values only triggered by the time a winning combination stretches all the way to reels 4 and 5. And it’s only on these last two reels that any of the Jackpot prizes appear.
All jackpot prizes are based on multiples of your stake:
- Mini Jackpot = 25x
- Minot Jackpot = 75x
- Major Jackpot = 750x
- Mega Jackpot = 2,500x
Our Verdict
If you’re not a fan of retro or fruit machine slots, Quick Cash is unlikely to be the game that changes your mind. There’s only one bonus feature and no free spins round, although the Respin Bonus can land some big cash payouts.
But those cash symbols help to take an average slot and make it much more appealing for a wider audience. The medium volatility and low wagering options make it suitable for most types of players, so take it for a spin and see whether it could get you grooving on down to some funky disco beats!
