Like Napoleon himself, this slot series doesn't know when to give up! It was fairly average during the first couple of outings and it seems that not much has improved as we move into Napoleon Deluxe. The stats have taken a hit, the payline structure is considerably less attractive and the max win hasn't grown at all. I'm wondering why the word ‘Deluxe’ was squeezed into this title. Across these lines, you can win payouts worth up to 200x for a 5-of-a-kind win but the royal symbols max out at 16x. A group of three will get you a basic win and wild symbols can also stand in to help create these winning combos.
Incidentally, it's wild symbols that you need if you're going to hit the big time with a group of five of these smashing out a 5,000x payout! I've not seen a wild symbol offer a payment like that in a while.
Wild symbols will also multiply any line wins that they help to create. If a win is made up of one wild symbol then the multiplier is x2 but if you can get four of them in there, then your standard win gets multiplied by 16x. That's about it for the base game and now we move on to the bonus spins.
You'll need three scatter symbols in view and you won't land them on the first or last reels, unfortunately. The free spins play in much the same way as the base game but you now have the possibility of triggering Napoleon's Streak.
It was known as the Mega Streak in Napoleon 2 but now it seems to have been simply downgraded to a streak.

It's the wild symbols that will assist you in every aspect of this game. You're not going to pick up huge wins without them unless you can manage a five-of-a-kind of the two highest-paying picture symbols. Even then, you won't be getting close to the 20,000x max win. For that, you'll need a group of five wild symbols with their 5,000x max win or some wild multipliers that can grow to x16, even in the base game. During the bonus game, you should see your balance start to smile a little more as the Napoleon Streak works its magic. The RTP is a little lower than the last Napoleon outing at 96.04% and the volatility is high.
Once again, not much has changed since the last warmongering adventure that we witnessed from this assertive little Frenchman. He makes his way across the battlefield with an epic score to accompany his white horse along the way. You've got a cannon in the foreground and some clouds and men fighting in the background. It's not particularly crisp and the animations aren't exactly cutting edge. It looks acceptable on a mobile screen but you aren't going to get too excited about it.
I've seen a couple of these Napoleon slots now and Napoleon Deluxe doesn't offer any improvement on the last creation. In fact, it's taken a step backwards in most respects and adding the name ‘Deluxe’ only adds a strange irony to this. Personally, I'd go with the Fat Stacks version as you have everything you see here and more.
