The Wonder 500 range is still in its infancy and is being met with mixed reviews from both slot reviewers and fans alike. The natural highlight is that you can play for smaller stakes and have a better chance of hitting the top prize but the downside often comes with less intricate features and dare we say it, lower production value.
It feels like this game is taking us back a decade to enjoy/despair at regular arcade sounds rather than a soundtrack. The animation does kick in slightly as the portcullis opens but apart from that, it is a bit underwhelming. The reels are set within the castle walls and the regular symbols are made up of card suits and other regal trinkets.
