Krazy Klimber Review
Set in 1933, Krazy Klimber is all about a gigantic Gorilla who escapes from the local zoo and decides to wreak havoc all over the city. Just like King Kong, the Gorilla climbs to the top of the tallest skyscraper and you must bring him down in order to bring normality back to the city.
Developed by Reflex Gaming and Yggdrasil, Krazy Klimber is a medium volatility slot that plays on 6-reels with 20 paylines. With Climb Features and Free Spins, you'll be defeating the Gorilla in no time.
Design
The entire slot is framed just like the King Kong movies with the Gorilla on top of a giant skyscraper (obviously not the Empire State Building). There are general spotlights and planes flying around the screen to replicate the films as well.
On the reels, the symbols are inspired by the movies as well with the famous blonde girl, Ann Darrow, who Kong takes hostage along with symbols relating to Skull Island and movies. The design of the reels has an art deco feeling to properly set you in the 1930s.
Interestingly, the music fits in with the 1930s theme with a jazzy noir track that includes saxophones, violins and drums for something to build up suspense. It all just works within this slot and you can't help but hum along to it.
Gameplay
Overall, the gameplay is easy to follow with only 5-reels and 20 paylines to follow. The lack of features makes the slot more straightforward to follow as well.
At the side of the reels, the slot states how many paylines are active and the bottom contains all other things such as settings and bet level. To the far right of the screen, you'll notice the spin button with the autospin just to the left of it.
Win Potential
Krazy Klimber is a medium volatility slot with RTP at 96.11% - which is just above the average with online slots. Sadly, the maximum payout comes from the Climb Feature which can deliver up to 1,000x your stake with payout. Obviously, this isn't a huge amount and may certainly put off players.
Our Verdict
Aesthetically, this slot is absolutely fantastic. The inspiration from King Kong is appreciated and the slot generally looks incredible. Unfortunately, the letdown comes from the win potential.
The maximum win is 1,000x your stake - which is unacceptable in terms of modern online slots. Krazy Klimber is beautiful in theory but falls short with the win potential. Check it out for the visuals and gameplay, but perhaps check out King Kong Cash for better payouts.
