The Golden Fields slot game from Just for the Win is a cute and light-hearted title that offers some great bonus features and lots of chances to bag some decent wins.

Design
With 5 reels and 4 rows, Golden Fields offers a slightly bigger gaming board than a lot of other slots.
The plant holders that sit above each reel are a nice touch, and the farmyard symbols like pumpkins, horseshoes and watering cans all give this game a very jolly and cheerful look.
The game board sits on a glowing field of sunflowers, and gameplay is accompanied by an upbeat, banjo-led soundtrack.
There's nothing hugely unique to report in terms of imagery, but Just for the Win has done well in creating a lively and cute title that offers a cheery gaming session.
Game Play
We weren't expecting much from this farmyard-inspired game, but the truth is that this game is actually very fun to play.
The Wild Plants feature is quite easy to activate in the base game, expanding the symbols to give you some small but decent wins from the offset, and we had no trouble landing our fair share of Golden Eggs as well.
Where this game stands out is with the addition of not one, but two, free spins rounds. The addition of the Super Spins Upgrade Meter shows that the software developer put some serious effort into creating this title, not just churning out yet another slot title based on a farm.
All in all, Golden Fields is not just a cute animated farmyard adventure, it's actually a lot more exciting than we initially gave it credit for.

Another aspect that surprised us is that there are a lot more chances to win than you might expect.

Our Verdict
The farmyard theme doesn't do much to stand out from the crowd, however, the sheer volume of bonus features and the regular appearance of wilds and multipliers throughout the game all add up to give you a surprisingly fast-paced and enjoyable gaming session.
We loved the 2 free spins rounds, and both the base game and special features offer frequent payouts, as well as the chance for a very generous top prize of 5,000x.
Overall, we were very impressed with this slot game from Just for the Win, and we can't wait to get back down to the farm soon!
