Goat Getter Features
When it comes to Goat Getter features, we are slightly torn. We absolutely love the Coin Drop bonus but aren't quite sure about the free spins game. Let us explain!
The Coin Drop feature can trigger thanks to the Coin Pot symbols landing throughout the base game. Once 6 or more are in view, the feature is triggered and respins ensue, bringing mystery boxes to the reels. If the mystery boxes reveal another Coin Pot symbol, then the respins continue.
They can also present a bonus symbol as well. You need to reach a minimum of 10 Coin Pot symbols to realise their values, which can be up to 4x. Collecting bonus symbols can trigger the free spins feature.
Our free spins dilemma
The free spins bonus begins with a gamble option, as we have seen before in other Push Gaming titles. One of our favourites which utilises this option is Razor Returns and if you haven't checked out that game yet, do yourself a favour and have a look as soon as you can.
Back to Goat Getter and we find ourselves in the Free Spins bonus having gambled—or not—with our initial number of free spins. In this part of the game, Goat symbols may land and these act as collectors to draw in all the values from the Coin Pots. They also had another notch on the multiplier meter.
So why are we torn?
Well, the thing is that the Coin Drop feature seems much more accessible and the chances of winning a decent prize are more realistic. While there is a bigger multiplier possibility with the Free Spins game, our experience showed that the Coin Drop feature will usually produce better results and more often.
Requiring the Goat symbol to produce any decent wins makes the Free Spins bonus a little more difficult to work with and we didn't find ourselves longing for this feature to trigger. On the other hand, we couldn't get enough of the Coin Drop feature and this is a real feather in the cap for Push Gaming.
