6x5 is a large game area and you can hope to win payouts with matching symbols in 15,625 ways. Wins begin on the left-most reel and make their way across to the right and must form a group of three matching symbols on adjacent reels.
Some symbols are low-payers with returns of up to 0.20x for a group of six. The three medium-payers will get you up to 0.5x and the top two will pay 0.75x and 1.50x as a maximum.
Wild symbols substitute for all of the above and also get you an individual payout worth between 0.3x and 1.5x.
Winning symbols are removed from the grid and new ones appear in their place.
These small figures are enhanced by the glyph mechanic – the gold squares that appear from time to time. Glyph symbols might turn into a wild and these can help instantly substitute for other regular payers. They may also be blanks which do nothing for you. For better regular payouts, you're looking for the glyph symbols to reveal a paying symbol that moves across to the right-hand side. Despite the low regular paying figures, I was able to land some big base game wins worth over 30x thanks to the matching symbols turning glyphs into something worthwhile. It can be a little frustrating if you have a large number of glyphs waiting to be converted but the first three rows are blocked with one of them not containing a glyph symbol.
The bonus round has a couple of modifiers which can help enhance your rewards and you're able to choose which one you'd prefer.

Glyph of Gods plays with your emotions and your balance! Thankfully, the medium volatility brings decent wins around quite regularly so you hopefully won't see your bankroll depleting before your eyes. However, you do see it on a downward trajectory until those glyph symbols all of a sudden burst into life.
The max win of 10,000x does seem like a bit of a stretch though – even when I saw some long and valuable sequences, they were never close to producing anything eye-watering.
Relax Gaming has managed to blur the lines between modern, crisp graphics and early 90s retro. It's not my favourite symmetrical setup with lots of gold adorning the reels and futuristic-looking pyramids, but I think a lot of you will enjoy this display which is also available on mobile phones.
I wanted to dislike Glyph of Gods as it felt quite safe and I was dubious about the game's mechanics. However, I saw how powerful it can be from time to time and it grew on me. I'd say that it's worth persisting with this one just to see what might happen.
