Fishin' Frenzy Fortune Spins Review
The Fishin' Frenzy series is known for the iconic fish and fisherman working hand in hand to deliver a solid online slot. In the original Fishin' Frenzy, there were just free spins. Then, Fishin' Frenzy Megaways came and delivered up to 15,625 ways to win with Megaways.
After these, came Fishin' Frenzy: The Big Catch leading to colossal wins - but something was still missing. This is where Fishin' Frenzy: Fortune Spins comes in! All the best bits from the original and Fishin' Frenzy: The Big Catch have been combined together to deliver something exciting for fans.
Design
If you've played the original game, then you'll be familiar with the design as the background of the slot is the bottom of the ocean with waves at the top. Sadly, there are no real animations throughout the slot aside from a few with winning combinations.
As for the reels, there are various fish symbols and traditional playing suite symbols shaped like fish which is cool attention to detail. Unfortunately, there's nothing overly different or special that sets it aside from the other games in the series.
In terms of music, there is barely anything throughout the slot and only sounds when a winning combination is made. It does feel a little lifeless at times and almost like the developers just cloned the previous games to make this one.
Gameplay
There is nothing overly exciting during the base game that you haven't already seen. Despite this, there is the option to use Fortune Spins to increase your bet to add four different sets of reels. This is definitely the best improvement on the game.
To the right of the screen, there is a spin button and the bet level is at the bottom. The Fortune Spins can be found on the left side of the reels.
Win Potential
Sadly, the RTP is a ridiculous 94.95% with no jackpot attached to it. This is under the average standard of 96% and only accepted with a huge jackpot. As for the volatility level, this slot has a medium level leading to a mixture of high and low wins but there's an emphasis on the higher side.
In addition to these, there's a maximum win of 50,000x your stake that can be achieved through the Fortune Spins mode. Anything that goes over this amount will be capped.
Our Verdict
Whilst this slot does improve upon a few things within the series, the RTP and design are seriously lacking. Perhaps, if these were improved, then Fishin' Frenzy: Fortune Spins would've been the best one within the series.
Despite this, Fishin' Frenzy: Fortune Spins is worth a spin if you are a fan of the series and want something different.
