Dwarfs Fortune™ Review
When people think of dwarfs, they often think of Snow White and other fairytales that include dwarfs mining for treasures. Wazdan took this concept and decided to make a slot out of it.
Playing on 5-reels, Dwarfs Fortune™ uses the Hold the Jackpot respin mechanic, Adjustable Volatility and even fixed jackpots leading to win of up to 2,500x your stake.
The slot opens up in a mine with various rocks surrounding the reels. These are not ordinary rocks as there are gold bits peeking out.
All the symbols on the reels are relating to mining with various gems fitting in well with the theme. Sadly, there are no dwarf symbols in this slot which feels like a missed opportunity.
As for music, there's an epic score with a full orchestra playing in the distance. It's a little strange to find this in this slot but it's not completely off-putting.
Unlike traditional slots, this one doesn't have a traditional payline system but instead, awards wins by matching 5 of the same symbols anywhere on the reels. Alongside this, there's the Hold the Jackpot respin mechanic to keep the game exciting.
At the bottom of the screen, there's a spin button followed by a bet level button. Next to the spin button, the Adjustable Volatility level can be found here.
First and foremost, the Adjustable Volatility is absolutely incredible. You can decide if you want low, medium or high volatility in this slot during the base game and the respin mechanic.
The RTP was respectable at 96.16% and the maximum win is decent enough at 2,500x your stake for low volatility or medium volatility slots. However, for a high volatility slot, 2,500x your stake is not the biggest win.
The main thing that confused us with this slot was the design as there were no dwarfs and the music felt a little out of place. Despite this, the slot still looks great and plays fantastically.
Wazdan's Adjustable Volatility and Hold the Jackpot are truly amazing mechanics that make Dwarfs Fortune slot worth playing.
