Dead Man's Gold Features
We know that ELK Studios loves a feature-packed production so why would Dead Man's Gold be any different? In this game, you can look forward to so much action that it's hard to know where to start. Let's just hope that they haven't tried too hard and confused the hell out of us all as we go off in search of these fantastic add-ons.
Before we get stuck in, it is good to know a little bit about this game's pay structure. It all begins with a 6x4 grid and winning symbols are removed to reveal new ones in a cascading fashion. When this happens, the grid will grow by one row up to a maximum of eight rows.
There are also big symbols to look forward to and these can cover multiple spaces on the grid. When these expand beyond the top row, further symbols drop down into place to complete that row. All of this expanding wizardry can bring 262,144 win ways.
Fire The Cannons!
To release this feature, you need cannonball symbols and target symbols to land on the reels. When this happens, the cannons will fire into action and deliver a shot at the target. They will reveal wild symbols and blow up non-winning symbols around them.
Target symbols will have a gold ‘X’ across them and this means they are multiplier treasure targets. They reveal their wild in the same way and also blow up non-winning symbols but to add to the fun, they increase the multiplier to the side of the reels. This will reset when the winning sequence ends.
3, 4, 5 or 6 bonus symbols will allocate 10, 15, 20 or 25 free drops respectively. This takes you through the waterfall and inside the cave where Dead Man's Gold awaits you. The special symbols and progressive multiplier becomes sticky during the bonus game giving you better chances of hitting top wins and triggering features such as Fire The Cannons!
Occasionally, you get to see a gold chest land and block other spaces in the same column. The chest will expand upwards and fill the empty spaces with high-value symbols, wilds and cannonball symbols if you are lucky.
