Cat Clans 2 Review
The first furry Cat Clans installment from these characters was a lot of fun and so the pressure is on for them to perform once more. There's a cracking set of features to keep you occupied and some big win potential that we’ll look into in just a moment.
Design
The original game presented more of a Robin Hood feel while this sequel is a whole lot more Mad Max in its arid desert approach. Everyone is armed and dangerous and that little mouse to the side of the screen looks like it could cop it at any moment.
It isn't a particularly animated affair with fairly static scenery and no major movements from any of the characters, but sometimes this simple approach is enough to keep you amused. The tension builds up a couple of notches as you move into one of the feature rounds and these are more than capable of keeping you on the edge of your seat.
Game Play
The base game feels just as much a part of the main event as any other area of this production; the respins can trigger at any point and Mystery Boxes keep you gripped. The highest prizes will arrive during the free spins game, we imagine, but decent payouts could be found at any point.
Win Potential
There is the potential to land a 20,000x win but this comes with high volatility that will attack your balance along the way. Wins will be few and far between, but when they happen, they could be pretty spectacular. The RTP comes in at 96%.
Our Verdict
Did Cat Clans 2 manage to challenge its predecessor? It certainly did and we are glad that Snowborn Games brought it back for a second outing. There are some fantastic features, the imagery has received an upgrade while the max payout remains the same. Either one of these titles is a great choice of slot.
Paul spent plenty of time in arcades up and down the UK discovering all of the best fruit machines and watching them grow into the incredible online slots we see today. He still loves the basic format but also has a soft spot for games with big bonus rounds that progress as you play. Immortal Romance is one of his favourite slots of all time.
