Cash Falls is the real star of the show and features in a few other popular titles as well. The idea is pretty simple and the results can be awesome for your bankroll if everything goes your way. 

On any given spin, during the base game or the free spins bonus round, you’ll notice Cash Falls symbols that feature a cash multiplier amount. These will be anywhere from 0.5x to 100x your bet total or any of the 4 jackpot prizes. 

Different multipliers and jackpot amounts will land on different reels with reel 5 producing the best results—this reel has more rows than the others so it makes sense for this to be the most powerful. 

Cash Falls coins are held for 3 spins and it isn't until you complete an entire reel with these coins that you’ll get to feel the benefits and win all of the multipliers and/or jackpot prizes.

This feature works slightly differently during the free spins bonus game.

3, 4 or 5 bonus symbols will score you 10, 12 or 15 free spins respectively and also an x1 win as a little bonus. When you enter the free spins bonus, you’ll notice that the reels are slightly different and all of the regular symbols are greyed out. Now it is simply a battle of you versus the Cash Falls coins.

Any Cash Falls coins that land on the reels during this bonus will stay put until the end of the feature giving you a better chance of seeing some of those top prizes. However, it is a little disappointing to see that the 2 top jackpot amounts are excluded from the bonus game.

Light & Wonder is doing a great job of keeping Cash Falls fresh in our minds with regular releases in recent months. They’re coming at us thick and fast and we don’t mind one bit!

This latest version takes on the popular pirate theme but others are available for those who prefer gold mining, island holidays and Chinese-themed slots as well.

This game, like its predecessors, goes all-in on the main feature and everything revolves around the Cash Falls coins throughout the game. If you like the feature, then this is great news but if you don't, then you aren’t going to find much else here to keep you occupied.

Design

The game is set in the cove of a desert island with turquoise seas as palm trees sway in the breeze and the pirate's galleon bobs on the water to the right of the reels. It is a good-looking setup that works great on all kinds of devices including mobiles, but Light & Wonder have completely done away with any soundtrack and all you get are a few sound effects as the reels spin. It's not a bad effort but the design team could have gone a lot further, in our opinion.

Game Play

There's not much to it really, and the whole time you will be fixated on those Cash Falls symbols as they land at any point during the game. Landing more valuable prizes on the 5th reel is much harder than usual due to the fact that there are 8 rows. However, it does increase the pay lines quite dramatically, so this could prove to be beneficial. Heading into the free spins bonus, the tension builds and offers the possibility of some top payouts.

Win Potential

Having 4 jackpots in play will always hold your attention and knowing that the largest of the jackpot prizes are only available during the base game keeps this part of the production even more exciting. 10,000x is the top one-off prize thanks to the Mega jackpot but it is possible to continue adding to your tally up to 21,025x. 

The RTP is just about right at 96% and despite the high volatility, we found that the Cash Falls coins were happy to keep up their end of the bargain. Fingers crossed that you get the same treatment!

Our Verdict

There isn't a hell of a lot going on in Cash Falls Pirate’s Trove and perhaps an additional modifier or 2 could have taken this slot to a whole new level. But still, it's a good-looking product with great winning potential and should be on your list of new games to try.
