9 Pots of Gold Megaways Review
Gameburger Studios are back with a fresh take on their old 9 Pots of Gold slot. The whole show is very similar but there are a couple of neat changes that might just prove to be beneficial for your bankroll.
If you’re up for an OTT Irish fest with loads of ways to land big cash prizes, then hop on the rainbow and we’ll slide off together in search of that elusive pot of gold.
Design
What exactly do you want from an Irish-themed slot? Little ginger leprechauns, tiddly-tiddly music, rainbows, pots of gold, four-leaf clovers and a few harps dotted around for good measure? Well, you’re in luck!
9 Pots of Gold Megaways is as stereotypical as a pint of Guinness and a boiled spud, so don’t expect too many surprises.
That said, it’s a colourful display with some beefed-up guitar sounds thrown in for good measure. There’s a bit of a hallucinogenic vibe to this game and it does make for a nice break from the norm.
Game Play
The Megaways mechanic along with the Rolling Reels modifier makes the base game pretty enjoyable without yearning for the free spins to arrive. Epic Strike is another pleasant distraction, which can pay out instant prizes of 2,000x that nobody in their right mind would complain about either.
The Free Spins bonus round might have been a little underwhelming if it wasn’t for the progressive multipliers; but as it stands, there's a lot of fun and potential payouts to be found here too.
Win Potential
Apart from the Epic Strike 2,000x max win, you can continue to grow your stash to a maximum 5,000x payout, which isn’t massive but very respectable nonetheless. The RTP is set at 96.10% so the house has a reasonable but not unfair edge.
Our Verdict
9 Pots of Gold Megaways manages to avoid feeling like just another Irish-themed slot thanks to the various add-ons and the high-quality game production makes it visually pleasing on both large screens and mobiles alike. Should you take a punt on this one? We think so!
