The best way to get to grips with the features available on 9 Burning Stars™ is to jump straight in and play the game. Wazdan has done the usual job of providing an info screen with pages of details that are fairly unnecessary. If the first thing you do is read these, then you will probably be a little confused.
The game is actually quite simple. In essence, there are only a few features to report. Just don't overthink it and enjoy the show! During the base game, nine symbols will land across the 3x3 grid. These may be regular paying symbols, cash symbols or possibly a little gem with a multiplier number on it.
Multipliers start at x2 and max out at x10. Any wins that you land while simultaneously seeing a multiplier drop into view will be multiplied by that figure. Simple!

When we first started our review, we were expecting an extremely intricate and complicated series of game sequences. However, we're pleased to say that after the initial WTF moment, we soon discovered that there was no cause for alarm. The base game plays out across a 3x3 grid so only 9 symbols can land at a time.
To hit a win, you simply need 5 of the same symbols to land; they don't need to be in any particular order. Getting into the bonus round will require a bonus matrix to fill up with any cash symbols that land throughout the base game and this can take a while depending on the volatility setting.
Players outside the UK can simply buy their way in and get straight down to business. The Hold the Jackpot™ feature is where things start to heat up with massive prize potential.
All of the prize potential is loaded into the bonus round. The base game itself doesn't present a huge opportunity for massive multipliers. But there are still plenty of wins to experience along the way. If you go for the low volatility option, then expect to see plenty of little payouts as you play.
