Relax Gaming names Simon Hammon as new Chief Executive Officer

After serving at Relax Gaming for over four years, Hammon is the new CEO

Simon Hammon is a huge name at Relax Gaming and has been at the company since 2018 when he joined as Chief Product Officer. Four years since joining the company, Simon Hammon is now celebrating promotion as he's been promoted to Chief Executive Officer (CEO)  in July 2022.

The former Chief Product Officer will replace Tommi Maijala who has held the position since November 2019 and will continue to support Simon Hammon throughout 2022 to make the transaction smoother.

A history of Simon Hammon

Hammon comes from an iGaming background with over 10 years of experience starting off as a Freelance Consultant in 2007 within iGaming. In 2011, he became the Product Manager at NetEnt before being promoted in 2011 to Chief Product Officer.

By 2018, Hammon left NetEnt and moved to Relax Gaming. It's expected that Simon Hammon will continue to build Relax Gaming's solid reputation as one of the leading companies in iGaming as Relax Gaming has expanded into North America, Ontario, Italy and Spain within the last twelve months.
