Wildfire West Features
While there is only really one main feature to check out during this game, the whole setup is capable of feeling like a feature in itself. If you like a complicated maths model and appreciate how things can be done slightly differently, then you might just love Wildfire West.
Getting to grips with this payline structure takes some getting used to and this is all because of the Wildfire Reels. The game starts with a random 5x3 grid selected from the 10 rows. The reels spin and the 5x3 area will move and finally land on one area. This highlighted area is the part that can bring you wins on any given spin. The area can grow thanks to various modifiers and this is where the wins start to get bigger and better.
When an up or down arrow appears on the activated game area, the 5x3 section will move up or down to cover a winning combo.
The active area can begin to expand the game section up to 10 rows high and with it comes a multiplier. If the rows expand by 1, then the multiplier moves up to x3 and so on.
This modifier is quite simple and it adds a Wildfire symbol to the active area.
To get rid of any low-paying symbols for that particular spin, you will want one of these to land and randomly trigger a cascade.
When one of these lands in the active area, it will expand in the direction of the arrow from its start position to the end of the reels.
If you receive two or more wild multipliers overlapping in one area, then the multiplier is increased by 1x.
Free spins bonus
You begin the bonus game with 7 free spins and this is all thanks to 3 or more bonus symbols landing in an active area. In some places outside the UK, it is possible to buy your way directly into this feature at the cost of 100x.
The bonus begins with a 5x3 grid and this continues to expand up to 5x10 by the time you reach the 7th spin. Remember that the multiplier increase by +1 each time the rows expand.
