This isn't your standard set of reels and let's be honest, it's not your standard party! They run in a 3-4-5-5-4-3 format and wins must start on the leftmost reel. Matching symbols continue to land on adjacent reels to bag you a win.
With six reels in play, you can have winning groups of up to six strong and the royal symbols will grab you 0.5x as a maximum payout for the aces. Four picture symbols top out at 2.5x for a group of six vampires.
Wild symbols land on any reel and these will substitute for all of the regular paying symbols.
As wins occur, your winning symbols disappear and new ones drop down onto the reels. At the same time, the multiplier at the top of the screen begins to advance. Eventually, you could end up with x1024 as a multiplier which applies to your winning cascades.
Marked symbols land randomly and these are significant because any wins formed using these symbols will produce wilds on the following cascade.
Entering the bonus game is quite simple but how often you see it will all depend on your luck. Between 3 and 6 scatter symbols get you a multiplier between 8x and 64x and everybody starts with 12 spins.
There is a gamble wheel where you can try and push your multiplier up to x256 but you could also lose all your spins as well. It's roughly a 50/50 chance of progressing towards the higher multiplier level.
You might be expecting the multiplier to persist throughout your free spins but unfortunately, it isn't that way in this game. As with the base game, a losing spin results in the multiplier returning back to its original state.
Outside the UK, there are two purchase options with one upping the ante and increasing the chances of seeing more scatter symbols and the other a series of direct bonus purchase options.
Paying an additional 0.4x doubles the chances of landing scatter symbols and the other options grab you the free spins bonus with 3x, 4x, 5x or a random multiplier figure when you enter the bonus. These cost 78x, 150x, 288x and 128x, respectively.
I took my chances with the most expensive purchase option and was reminded that bonus buy-ins aren't always a good idea. My 288x investment only returned 48x.
To keep the experiment fair, I had another go and decided to try the lowest option by entering with an 8x multiplier.
By the time I had reached the midpoint of the bonus game, I had already exceeded my winnings from the 1st attempt. Moving into the final three spins, I saw a couple of small payouts and on the last free spin, the multiplier grew as I hit a couple of larger wins. The final score was 83x.
When you least expect it, some symbols on reels three and four might be marked and when you land a win using these symbols, they'll turn into wilds as your cascades continue.
Landing your first win receives an x1 multiplier. As the cascades persist, further wins see the multiplier grow until eventually, you could have x1024 applied to your payouts.

Even though my returns were fairly limited during the two attempts I made at clearing up in the bonus game, I can still see decent potential in this slot. If you're lucky enough to uncover a good run of cascades, then those multipliers can really help out. If everything goes your way, you could be running from this haunted house with 5,000x in your back pocket and you might also be pleased to know that the RTP is 96%.
It truly is a campy party with bright neon lights shining from behind the tombstone, upon which your symbols are spinning. Coffins are propped-up against the walls to the side of the room and there's even a little disco ball spinning in the corner.
