To land a win in this freaky house of ritual, you need to pay attention to the grid setup. You have 5 reels and 5 rows, which don't require any paylines. Instead, wins are formed with 4 matching symbols connecting horizontally or vertically. Obviously, you could have more than 10 symbols creating a group and these will get you bigger wins.
There are 4 gem symbols, which pay up to 6x for 10+and 4 ritual symbols which can grow to 100x. These are the basic wins, but your balance is going to require something a little more special if it's to head in the right direction.
Assists come from wild symbols and these are plentiful in this game. Book Wilds are pretty standard and substitute for other regular paying symbols. There's a chance that they can also trigger the portal effects - more on that in a moment.

Land a win where an eye is placed and you’ll get up to 4 Book Wilds added to the grid. If this occurs during a Damnation Spin, you’ll get a Yog-Sothoth Wild and opening more eyes brings multipliers.
