Dungeon Tower Review
The creative minds at Peter & Sons are notorious for innovative and inventive slots with original designs. Thankfully, the Yggdrasil produced Dungeon Tower is no different!
When the slot opens up, there is a grid of 5x5 that matches up wins by landing 3 or more symbols of the same type. This grid slot contains two main features in the form of free spins and MultiMax.
All of this combines with the creative features and the amazing maximum win of 20,000x the stake showcases that Peter & Sons has not lost its originality.
Design
Unlike most other Peter & Sons slots, this one contains a 3D design of the characters which looks quite strange. It still has the charm of the other slots but is quite different.
Most of the symbols on the reels are monsters which all look grotesque and not at all in the cutesy way that is familiar with Peter & Sons. Throughout the game, these are animated but not nice to look at.
As for the design of the environment, the game takes place at the top of a dungeon with different levels being explored throughout the bonus round. Evidently, the music is standard for a slot like this with a steady beat throughout. It's nothing special but fits in well with the design.
Gameplay
Whilst the design didn't 'wow' us as much as we'd like, the overall gameplay is quite intriguing. It's kept simple with the cluster mechanic matching up 3 or more symbols of the same type.
The addition of MultiMax with free spins is definitely valued as it feels like the win potential is limitless! Like most Peter & Sons' slots, the spin button can be found on the right side alongside the bonus buy.
Win Potential
This is easily one of the best Peter & Sons' slots for win potential as the biggest win is 20,000x stake! This can be achieved through the free spins round with the multipliers that do not have a limit. It definitely feels achievable and is a sight to behold.
Dungeon Tower also contains high statistics in the form of the RTP at 96% and a high volatility level. With this, players can expect greater wins, but these will not be very common. It's worth holding out if you can for those big wins.
Our Verdict
There is no denying that the visuals of this slot do not have the same charm as other Peter & Sons slots, but it's still way above average compared to other slot developers.
Dungeon Tower will easily become a fan-favourite due to the MultiMax mechanic and the big wins. If this slot showcases the average dungeon, then we'd be happy to be locked away here!
